The staff are very friendly, and their helpful service, from handling luggage to making sure the room is ready, makes the place feel welcoming. The rooms have a light Scandinavian look that feels calm and modern, while still being cozy. Most have at least a partial sea view, so from the balcony you can see the coastline and the Halligen in the background. With lovely views, thoughtfully designed rooms, and such attentive service, this hotel really captures what makes Föhr special. It’s a lovely place to stay while visiting the island.

Breakfast runs until noon, with a wide choice of delicious food. The hotel and rooms are in very good shape, and the staff are friendly and clean thoroughly. There’s also a really nice spa with a lovely view.

It costs a lot, but you do get what you pay for. We’ve stayed twice now, and we’ll come back as soon as we can. If you’re after peace, quiet, and time to relax, this is the place.

The hotel is very nice, and the breakfast and spa were great. The pool was way too cold for a winter day, and dinner is no longer served buffet-style. At this price, those things cost it two stars.

The design is nice, the location is great, and the place is very clean. The freshly cooked food seems to be made for German tastes, and I didn’t enjoy it: the risotto and pasta were overcooked, and the dishes were bland and tasteless.
