Ferienanlage am Kellerberg

Our dog loved the little garden, it was like a small paradise for him. We stayed at the holiday apartment at Kellerberg 91 at the end of May, and the location was so peaceful. The bakery and butcher shop are nearby. The apartment was clean, the landlords were friendly, and we’re already looking forward to going back.

There’s plenty of space in these holiday homes, and although each is furnished differently, they share the same layout. Upstairs are two bedrooms, each with its own toilet and sink. Downstairs you’ll find a kitchenette, a bathroom with shower and toilet, a dining table, and a sofa bed. The cleanliness is only surface-level. Without an extractor hood, grime has built up around places like the sockets and lamps. Pet hair is also hard to get out of the sofas, mattresses, and carpet. Pets are allowed. If worn furnishings and limited cleanliness don’t bother you much, you may still feel at home here.

There was coffee grounds left in the coffee maker from the previous guest, and the sinks and toilets hadn’t been cleaned. We found hair on the sinks and wear on the toilets, so our first task was buying bathroom cleaning supplies at the supermarket. Not the way anyone wants to start a holiday. There were other problems too: the fence to the neighbor’s property was already broken before we arrived and couldn’t keep their dog out. The oven door was broken, and a bag from the bakery had been put over what seemed to be the smoke detector in the entrance. The duvet in the children’s room had a really disgusting stain. The bathroom fan in the bedroom, which has no window, wasn’t working.

I’m disappointed with the apartment. It was very sparsely furnished, and the property needs renovation. The shower head wouldn’t fit its holder, so we couldn’t shower properly. The parasol stands were broken, and the umbrellas kept tipping over. The grounds need more care too, with hedges trimmed and weeds cleared.
