The price was fair, and the room itself was spotless, with a thorough clean every day. We stayed in room 3, which was modern and in excellent shape. The beds were comfortable, and having a smart TV and good internet was a nice extra. We could also keep our bikes in the bicycle garage. Breakfast was simple but enough for us, and it was served at the hotel next door.

We'd planned to stay at Zum Römerbad, but when we arrived they said breakfast was being served at the Ratskeller, so they booked us into the Ratskeller Hotel instead. The room turned out smaller than we expected and much more dated than the place we'd originally planned to stay.

We slept really well, whether it was the wine or those perfect mattresses. Room 7 had its own little terrace, too. The 60 steps were the one thing I personally didn't love. Breakfast had everything you could want, keeping in mind this is a guesthouse. The price matched what you get, and we had a wonderful stay. We'll be back 😊

The rooms are lovely and the hotel is right in the center. But breakfast spoiled that good first impression: the buffet had already been cleared even though breakfast hours weren't over. It felt pretty unwelcoming.

We were warmly welcomed by the super friendly hosts. It's a very nice hotel, with a restaurant on site, and we've already booked again for next year.
