Our room was spotless, well-appointed, and had a tremendous Mosel view. Ruth also came through for us when we arrived as planned at 2030 on Sunday evening. We'd called ahead, and she said she'd make sure we could get something to eat. She checked us in, then called around to find an open kitchen. When none were available, she made us Flammkuchen herself. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel for a visit to the Mosel valley.

After a long ride by bike, checking into Mayer's Weinhotel was a pleasure. We got a spacious, clean room with a balcony overlooking the river. The location in Zell made it easy to get around on foot, and breakfast the next morning was first rate. We'll be back!

The food was delicious, and the owner came up with a creative takeaway solution when we asked. Our table was ready right away, and the waitress handled several orders with ease. The service was impeccable and professional. They had run out of beer, but honestly, it was closing time.
