We appreciated how quiet Zempin itself was compared with the nearby towns. The homes are peaceful and well situated, with a sunny terrace and parking right by the house. The beach is about 1 km away and the Bodden/Achterwasser lagoon is 300 m away. There’s also a friendly, decent bakery close by. The furnishings are good and more than enough for a family with two kids. The furniture, beds, and tables feel high quality, but the cushions really aren't acceptable. Fishing on the Achterwasser isn't much good, with very few spots and lots of reeds. Without a boat, you're out of luck. 🤷♂️ Booking and communication were smooth. Thank you! 👍🏻

The cottages sit quietly in the middle of the old village, with friendly neighbors around. There's a small market on Saturdays, the train station is about 350 meters away, and the beach is around 800 meters off. Each of the two cozy cottages has two beautifully furnished apartments.

We cancelled straight away after the unfriendly reply to our booking and question about bringing dogs. Dogs are apparently allowed, but we were immediately asked whether they would stay in their baskets in the apartment and where we'd feed them. There wasn't even a thank you for booking. If dogs are so unwelcome, perhaps they shouldn't be allowed.
