The views were lovely, and we could check out without being rushed after a really good breakfast. We were a group of eight in Zerbst for a festival and needed somewhere close to sleep. Booking online went smoothly, a few of us handled check-in for everyone, and the friendly owners helped sort out taxis for the night. I'd definitely recommend it.

The kids had a great time spotting all the different farm animals, and 4G worked well enough that the lack of Wi-Fi didn't bother us. My one gripe is the little basic pantry: charging €50 to use it feels wrong. It should be free. Otherwise, this would've been five stars.

I love the countryside, and this was a nice place with nice people.

The entrance had a small notice saying the restaurant opens only by prior arrangement, even though signs along nearby bike paths and the Badetz estate website said it was open daily. If they don't want guests, that's certainly one way to go about it. I wouldn't recommend it.
