The room was clean and nice, and the service was fantastic.

We stayed on the ground floor, in a comfortable apartment with all the amenities and comfortable beds. The garden was lovely, with a beautiful view. You can hear the major road nearby, especially since it’s so close to the Nürburgring, but it didn’t bother me. Nights were wonderfully quiet, and the surroundings are beautiful.

The one drawback for me was the Wi-Fi, which only worked by the sofas. Aside from that, it’s a peaceful, well-kept place with green views and several rooms, a good choice for family gatherings. There’s a fully equipped kitchen, including Melitta and espresso coffee machines. Restaurants, bakeries, and a gas station are nearby, while the surroundings themselves are very quiet. I’d come back with my family.

We came by car and motorcycle and found plenty of parking at the house. The landlady was very friendly, and after greeting us she kept out of the way, though she was easy to reach if we needed anything. We were glad to find this offer and can recommend it. The Volcanic Eifel region is beautiful, with lots to discover, and the holiday was still enjoyable despite a few things being noticeable. The apartment was very clean, with a new, modern bathroom and a kitchen almost as well equipped as home. It had everything for making simple hot meals, though a blender would have been useful. The bathroom heater is a little undersized, but manageable. Nearby there’s a good butcher, an Edeka supermarket with a bakery attached, and a Lidl. We were lucky enough to rent one of these charming holiday apartments the day after the accommodation ban was lifted. The weather wasn’t on our side, which made the TV an issue. It’s relatively old, has no HDMI input, and we couldn’t use a Fire TV Stick for ad-free films or series. That feels like something that should be available nowadays if there’s no alternative on site. There’s also a parking lot being built at Edeka, which is down the slope and practically in sight of the house. For now, construction noise starts at 7:00 a.m., though it’s temporary and doesn’t permanently affect the accommodation. The main road is fairly close too, and as people from the countryside, we noticed it at times. Still, everything was within tolerable limits.
