The host family made us feel welcome from the start, always being warm, attentive, and ready to help. We spent five days at the farm and had a wonderful time. The apartments were cozy, lovely, and well equipped, and everything was clean and well cared for. The service was excellent, and we all plan to come back.

With 9 adults, 4 children, and 2 dogs, we had a wonderful weekend at the Birkenhof guesthouse in September 2025. The Prager family were accommodating and took care of all our requests. Breakfast had lots of variety and was excellent, and evening meals could be arranged too. The pony and donkey rides were a huge hit with the children. We highly recommend staying here.

The first morning felt a little odd when people crossed the terrace at 8 a.m., maybe heading to the sauna? After that, we kept all the curtains shut :D It was a really cozy place, and I’d gladly return.

TOP! I stayed in one of the holiday apartments for almost three weeks after a work assignment. The people were really nice, and the room was clean and very well equipped, with a small kitchen. I’d gladly come back anytime. Best wishes!

Birkenhof’s holiday apartments are lovely and clean, and the tiny house especially stood out since it has everything you need. Dogs are welcome, too. The hosts were courteous and very helpful, and put together a fantastic, very generous breakfast buffet. We wholeheartedly recommend Birkenhof.
