We spent November at house Matten 8a, while our best friends stayed across the street in the Lotte Twee holiday apartment. We can recommend both places. They’re spotless, comfortable, and cozy. Many thanks to Mrs. Butt for keeping them so clean. It’s under five minutes on foot to the Bodden lagoon, and you can walk or cycle from there all the way to the harbor in Zingst. From the house, you can walk to the beach or drive there in 3-4 minutes, depending on where you’re headed. The town center is a little farther, but still an easy distance. The area is wonderfully quiet. We especially liked seeing deer, stags, horses, birds, and sheep grazing. We had no questions or problems, but Mrs. Butt and Mr. Rank are kind and helpful if you need anything, which we appreciated. It’s hard to describe how beautiful it is. We’ve already booked another holiday, and it won’t be our last.

Mrs. Butt provided outstanding service, and arranging things with Swen Rank was seamless. The house was well looked after, with plenty of parking, and the amenities were a real highlight: showers on every floor, a sauna area where two people can relax, and a well-equipped kitchen. We especially liked the comfortable living room sofas and the terraces at both the front and back. There’s also a balcony upstairs that everyone can use, plus a bedroom with its own balcony for some quiet time. Our stay at Matten 8 was excellent. Highly recommended!

We’re here for the third time, and the quiet surroundings make it easy to relax. It’s a lovely house with a fenced garden, ideal for a holiday with our dog. You can head straight out for walks from the house, with nature all around.
