Uns Muschelhus

We had a wonderful vacation here, but I don’t think we’d choose this particular house again. The location is hard to beat, with the beach just a minute away. The little garden gives you plenty of privacy, and the decor is lovely, playful, and almost cute, making it a nice place to linger. Wi-Fi was so-so and varied by floor, though maybe that’s not such a bad thing on vacation. The cleaning was a real letdown for the price. At first glance things looked clean, but closer inspection told a different story. We found dirty glasses and pots in the cupboard, and the toothbrush holders had clearly been used, with lip and toothpaste residue still on them. We had to change one pillowcase, and the inside of the bedding was truly disgusting. There was also hair from the previous guests in the cupboards. The bathtub is visibly damaged, has heavy mold around the drain, and drains so poorly that it was half full after one use. The toilet bowls still had urine residue at the bottom and needed a proper clean with toilet cleaner and a brush. Anyone expecting spotless cleanliness will have to compromise.
