Stadthotel König Albert

We were absolutely delighted with our New Year's stay. The hotel is quite new, and both the room and bathroom are modern and tastefully furnished. The staff were attentive and courteous. Breakfast came in a generous buffet, lovingly arranged in a room that invites you to linger. We were amazed to find the path to the car, and the area around it in the hotel parking lot, cleared of snow. Thank you for such a wonderful stay.

I booked this for a club trip and the other travelers praised the hotel choice. Everyone was pleasantly surprised. The room was spacious and stylish, the bed very comfortable, and the location completely quiet. Breakfast was fantastic, and you can tell the owner put a lot of heart into it. The value for money is above average. I took off a star for service because I personally prefer a staffed reception to a key safe. I understand staffing makes that difficult sometimes, and I appreciate that the rooms are affordable, but for me that isn't five-star service. Thanks very much, I'd love to come back.

The breakfast buffet was lovingly prepared, which is why I'm giving one star. The hotel might suit spring or summer, but definitely not the colder months. The rooms were much too cold, and there was no way to regulate the heating. After two people showered, the hot water was only lukewarm.
