The owners are hands-on across the business, and you can feel that family touch right away. It feels like home, far from the big-city hotels and chains. Food, drinks, service, and prices were all great. If you're in the greater Munich area, stop by and see for yourself.

It looks quite upscale, but the prices are fair for what you get. The food was tasty, the service fantastic, and the atmosphere sensational. If you're nearby, it's well worth coming for dinner.

The service went beyond what I expected, and the rooms and suites are spacious, with comfortable beds and plenty of places to sit. This genuine German guesthouse is about 30 minutes from Munich and feels like a real hidden gem. The shower could use an upgrade, though it's always clean. I'd recommend it to anyone wanting a taste of genuine German hospitality instead of the usual hotel experience.

The only confusing part was finding staff, since there isn't really a reception, especially when we first arrived. Otherwise, this is a lovely, traditional guesthouse with big, cozy rooms full of antiques and a very comfortable bed. The restaurant is wonderfully authentic, with classic Bavarian food and seasonal specials like calf. Breakfast is thoughtfully laid out by candlelight, and the staff are very friendly and helpful. There's a Norma supermarket just a few metres away, plus a petrol station. Great for anyone travelling by car who doesn't need to be in the city centre.
