The food was good, but the service was lousy. They brought us a meal we hadn't ordered and made us keep it instead of changing it. We also waited 30 minutes and had to call them just to place our order.

We waited almost 20 minutes just to get the room keys, then found the bed was too small and the water pressure was poor. At 580 EUR a night, this was the worst place ever.

6/10
The location was convenient and the service was nice, though the owner at reception could have been friendlier. Our first-floor room was okay, but felt a bit aged and cost too much for what it was. It faced a noisy street, above the restaurant's outdoor tables where people smoked, and the smoke kept coming into the room. In summer we wanted the window open and to use our little balcony, which made that especially frustrating.

The hotel has large rooms for a reasonable price, and the breakfast is very good. Staff are friendly too. You can get to central Munich by train, with a 1 km walk to the station and then a 25-minute ride, or go by bike.

We ate outside, and there's even a little playground for children. The place was busy, so I'd call ahead to reserve. The atmosphere was awesome, and both the food and service were fantastic. It was German through and through, and our waitress spoke English, which was great for those of us who don't speak German.
