Landhaus zur alten Gärtnerei

A really lovely, cozy place to stay!

Great place.

We stayed two nights at the country hotel with two adults and our toddler, and were delighted. The hostess was warm, personable, and very dedicated to making sure guests have a wonderful stay. Check-in was easy, and there was plenty of free parking right at the hotel. The charming entrance and cozy lobby had books and toys, complimentary coffee and tea available at any time, and cold drinks at a fair price. Our apartment wasn't the most modern, but it had thoughtful, high-quality furnishings. There was a spacious hallway, a large bedroom with a double bed, desk, TV, and access to a sort of balcony with a beach chair. The smaller bedroom had a single bed, desk, armchair, and TV. The bathroom had a shower, toilet, and a hairdryer. We seemed to be the only guests, and breakfast was prepared at the time we preferred and to our wishes, which isn't always easy with a toddler. The hotel has lovely plants around it, and our son could play inside and out. We were completely satisfied.

The breakfast was delicious and very generous, and we could make coffee or tea ourselves at any time. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the owner was accommodating. We spent a long Easter weekend at Alte Gärtnerei and highly recommend the hotel. We picked the camping room and slept in a camper van for the first time in our lives, with surroundings to match the camping theme. The rooms are individually themed and decorated to a high standard. The other rooms we saw were tastefully furnished too. We'll definitely come back.
