CABINN Aalborg Hotel

We were happy with the stay for the price, especially since breakfast made it easy to grab something and head out in the morning. It wasn't anything special, but I’m glad we paid for it. The room was a decent size, despite what some people say, and the bathroom was basic but worked fine. The receptionist was so sweet and helped us with whatever came up. When we spilled something, she brought fresh bedsheets, and she also got us glasses and cups and lent us an umbrella. We felt well looked after the whole time. If all you need is a decent place to sleep while you explore, this does the job. We weren't expecting five-star luxury, and we felt it was good value without spending a lot. I think some of the bad reviews expect a fancy movie-set kind of hotel.

The rooms were small, which matched the price. I could smell someone smoking in a room from the hallway, so smoke detection needs to be better.

There was some traffic and nightlife noise, though that comes with being in a pretty good location. The room was very compact, but the price felt fair for what you get. Service was good, and the staff were friendly.

The main plus is that it's open 24/7, and the staff are very kind. It's in a top location with a nice view, and there were plenty of rooms available. It's one of the cheapest options, so the rooms aren't very spacious, which is to be expected at that price.
