Breakfast was good, and the staff were very friendly. The location is right in the heart of Aalborg, which is great. The hotel itself has seen better days, though, and there were some really gross spots in the room. Worst of all was the disgusting sewer smell coming from the bathroom.

We had a good breakfast selection, with cold meats, bread, yogurt and more. The coffee machine worked well, and there was an automatic juice machine. Complimentary water, tea and coffee were available at reception too. We stayed with a group of friends for Aalborg Karneval, and chose the hotel for its ideal location and a local recommendation. Everyone on staff was welcoming and friendly, even when we got back late at night. The rooms were nicely presented, though a little dated in spots, with good beds and a decent-sized bathroom. Ours had a walk-in shower, hairdryer and toiletries. I'd recommend it for the location, good price and friendly staff. Thank you 🙌

I wouldn't recommend this hotel. It was much too expensive, especially booking directly at the front desk, and there seemed to be a chance of being assigned a tiny room at a different price than agreed. The staff didn't act professionally, and the breakfast room was packed. Breakfast itself was average with little selection. There are much better hotels in this area.

The breakfast buffet was okay, and the location was decent. It's an old hotel, but the rooms are clean, roomy enough, and not run down, even if they feel old. The shower is small, and the shower curtain feels odd for a four-star hotel. The lift also gives the place a postwar feel.
