Kompas Hotel Aalborg

The service was nice, and they gave us an extra hour so I had time to shower. The hotel room had a Bible, which saved it from getting three stars. Otherwise, it's a normal hotel, with an okay but unimpressive room, fine beds and a not-so-great shower. Breakfast wasn't much to brag about: the watermelon didn't taste of much, and the bread was old and not very tasty 🤐

The breakfast was very good, with quality ingredients and bean-to-cup coffee. The rooms were well appointed, the bed was comfy, and there was secure bike storage. A super hotel with friendly staff.

The breakfast was spectacular and consistent, and the hotel also rents out bicycles. I just wish I'd been given more information at reception about the services included during my stay. It's very clean and comfortable, close to both the city centre and the bus and train station. I liked the attention to little things, like the self-service shelves in the corridor, energy saving and braille room numbers. There's a small cinema right across from the hotel that's worth visiting in the evening.

We checked in during the evening and got a clean room with a cool view down the street, almost to the sea. The bathroom wasn't very big, but overall it's a good place to stay, near the city and with parking.
