Milling Hotel Gestus

The staff were kind and helpful, and I liked being able to pick up little essentials like toothpaste and a toothbrush at reception. There were cakes, fruit and snacks in the afternoon too. My room was cosy and practical, with reliable WiFi, and I could walk to the city centre and other sights. I really enjoyed staying here.

My room reservation ran into a problem, through no fault of the hotel, but the staff helped me find a room nearby during one of the busiest periods for hotels. I’m very grateful and would definitely stay here again. The place has a cosy feel, breakfast was good, and everyone was warm and helpful.

The room was a good size and clean, with everything I needed, though it felt a little dated and the bathroom could use a refresh. Breakfast was good, as it usually is at Milling hotels. The staff were pleasant and efficient, and the location is handy, close to both the train station and city centre.

We were given wine on the house for our wedding, which was such a lovely surprise and a really touching gesture. There were cakes, snacks and other treats available during the day, and breakfast was included. If you let them know ahead of time, they’ll also prepare a meal for you to take along when you leave. The staff were wonderfully friendly. They helped us figure out transport and get around the city, and I’ve never had service like that before. The rooms were great, and the hotel is close to everything we wanted to see. WiFi was fine nearer the lobby, but weaker on the fourth floor. That didn’t seriously affect our stay. If we return to Aalborg, I’d happily stay here again.
