Aarhus Hostel og Hotel

The rooms and facilities were fine, but we chose this hostel partly because we expected to have easy access to a laundry machine. We searched for a while before finding out they no longer had one. The check-in email and website still say laundry machines are available.

The location worked well for us, close to the industrial area, and the booking code made getting into the room easy. Staff spoke fluent English. Everything was spotless, including the bedding, towels, room, bathroom, hallway, and breakfast area. There was a slight mold smell in the room, and breakfast could be improved.

I stayed at Aarhus Hostel for two weeks and received great service from all the employees. The manager was particularly helpful. The cleaning team did a top-notch job, too. They also handled the corona precautions well, with clear instructions for guests and plenty of hand sanitizer dispensers. I'd definitely recommend this place.

Fine for a few nights, though it felt a little eerie, probably because of covid. The rooms could use a cheap renovation to deal with smells, peeling paint, and lifting wood. The kitchen vending machine also needs a better food selection so you don't have to go to a store.
