Boutique Hotel Villa Provence

The rooms were clean, and the decor throughout the Villa Provence Hotel gives it a lovely touch. It's centrally located, with everything we needed within a five-minute walk. The staff were warm, welcoming, and professional, and breakfast was stunning.

The lobby is comfortable, with sofas and wine, and the courtyard feels cozy. The breakfast room and food were amazing, and the staff were attentive. There are lots of stairs throughout the hotel's wings, and even some rooms have stairs. Moving luggage around the courtyard was difficult.

I felt completely safe staying and walking around on my own, and everything I needed was within walking distance. The rooms are beautiful and cozy, and the staff were amazing, always willing to go above and beyond. They still use a heavy room key on a key chain, so I'd leave it at the front desk when heading out. I couldn't find mine on departure day and thought I'd left it in the room. Later, after I got back to Copenhagen before my flight to the US, I found it with me. The owner was very patient and kind about it. The Copenhagen hotel was meant to mail it back, but didn't, and by the time I learned that, I was back in the US and had to ask a family member to handle it. I was grateful the owner understood and didn't charge me, even though the key took several weeks to get back. The service feels like staying with family in their home, not like being just a number.

This was my best hotel stay ever. The courtyard felt like another world in the middle of the city center, with trees, birds, and a seating area. It's small and intimate but still gives you room for privacy, and the atmosphere was lovely and quiet. My room was clean, neat, and homey, with a good-sized bathroom. It also stayed cool during the hot summer days we spent in Aarhus. The warm, personal service and open bar concept were extra highlights 🥰. I hope I can come back. I'll remember this experience for a long time.
