The view over Århus and the sea is hard to beat. The hotel is easy to get around, and the bar and restaurant areas are really cosy. It's a little outside the center, but still within walking distance of everything you might want to see in the city.

The receptionist was genuinely lovely and friendly. She alone brought the experience from almost dreadful up to acceptable. ❤️ The rooms are so worn that they shouldn't be rented out as they are, and the cleaning isn't at a hotel standard. They aren't cleaned daily unless you ask, so it's hard not to wonder whether they're properly cleaned between guests. This isn't a complaint about the cleaning staff, but about management, which seems to count cleaning in seconds instead of setting standards. If this room were a food business, the Danish Food Authority would have shut it down. 🤢🧼😷

Breakfast was amazing, with lots of choice and everything fresh. We had a lovely view of the city from our super nice room. The hotel is close to the sea and a restaurant area, about a 10 minute walk.

The rooms and breakfast were great. Roadworks made it a little hard to get there, but that's not the hotel's fault.
