The forest setting is beautiful, though it's a 40 minute walk from the center. Buses get you to the edge of the forest, then it's a short walk. There was a lot of noise from children playing during daylight hours. Otherwise everything was fine. It's pretty standard for a hostel, but costs many times more than an average one, so I can't recommend it. Paying extra for sheets is unusual and pushes the already high price up further.

The shared kitchen and common room are well equipped, and everything is tidy. The room is more than enough if you just need somewhere to sleep for a few nights. I wasn't expecting much for the price, but it turned out to be an amazing place. It's close to the sea, with beautiful surroundings, and the walk into the city takes around 45 minutes. That's a nice walk when it's not cold.

The hostel is nice and the rooms are clean. Just be ready to pay extra for bed linen, and they don't provide towels either. That surprised us, and we had to search for some in the shops in the middle of the night. They should've told us beforehand so we could prepare.

The Danhostel is a good, quiet alternative to hotels in the city center. It's about 3 km out, in Riis Park, so you can count on a good night's rest. The rooms are spacious and budget-friendly, parking is free, and the bus gets you to the center in 10 minutes. Still an appealing option for visiting Aarhus.

This was the end of my northseatrail, and what a lovely surprise. I had a room to myself and a nice backyard to rest in. The guest kitchen had all the facilities I needed. Risskov strand is nearby, and Aarhus is easy to reach by bus or on foot. I need more time here, so I'll have to come back. It's easy to get here by train from germany, and the service was very helpful in advance with my trailroute. Thanks for this ending.
