Hotel Atlantic

The location is hard to beat: about 10 minutes from the train station, 2 minutes to a tram stop, and 3 minutes from street food, an excellent prepared-food market rather than a fresh produce market. You're also right by the shore with a beautiful cityscape nearby. I had a standard room with two single beds and a decent amount of space. The bathroom was small, but the balcony was the best part, with fresh air and breathtaking views. There was no mini fridge or tap outside the bathroom. Breakfast was good quality with an okay selection, though I'd have liked more cereal, muffins, or maybe pancakes. Having to book a breakfast slot took extra planning and was awkward to work around. Reception moved quickly, if a little disconnected, while the breakfast staff were nice and took away my plate. The QR code checkout was useless for me. I spent about five minutes on it and still wasn't done, so I went downstairs and checked out in person in three seconds.

The room was really nice and had a bit of a view. I enjoyed having a bathtub, and the staff were pleasant. Getting checked in and out was quick and easy. The location is really good, too.

We had a room with a great view and plenty of bathroom products, like shampoo and lotion. It got a little hot at night, so we opened the balcony door, but the traffic outside didn't disturb us. The breakfast buffet was amazing, especially for tea drinkers: they had cast iron teapots for personal use and decent loose-leaf tea. Booking a breakfast slot through the clunky system was less appealing. The tea sold in the lobby, made with water from the coffee machine and a tea bag, was overpriced.

The staff were pleasant and helpful, and they let me leave my luggage in a designated area when I arrived before check-in. It's affordable and a decent choice for a few nights. The location is great, near both the train station and the bus stop, and breakfast was very good. The room got quite hot without A/C. Opening the window and using the fan they provide helped. The shower setup is a bit odd since it isn't separate from the sink, but they provide plenty of towels and a squeegee for cleaning the floor afterward. There was also a hair dryer and basic utilities in the room.
