Andelen Guesthouse

We rode around the island on bikes, which was tough but so beautiful. Adam rents bikes, which was handy, and there are two fridges for storing things. The place is lovely and right in the heart of town. The building has been nicely remodeled, the host Adam was really helpful, and the shared bathrooms were nice and no problem at all.

After putting our 1-year-old to bed, it was lovely to sit outside on the patio. Adam even provided a travel crib for him. The owner is incredibly nice and helpful, and rents bikes right there, plus he's happy to draw out a detailed map with a recommended route. It's a lovely guest house, with clean, nicely appointed rooms and very clean shared bathrooms.

Staying in Ærøskøbing made our wedding trip feel complete. We got a cargo bike from the guesthouse on our wedding day, and our host Adam was so caring, even though the language barrier made it hard to communicate in depth. When he learned we were getting married, he was the first to congratulate us. The shared bathroom was spotless, and the common area was nicely decorated and had everything we needed, including a microwave, kettle and fridge. We were so happy to stay here for our wedding.

The garden is beautiful, and the rooms have their own distinctive design. We loved staying here. It's centrally located by a charming square, above an old cinema, and just a 5-minute walk from the ferry port. The host was incredibly kind and a pleasure to talk with. He helped us a lot, even helping my friends who were staying at another hotel. Some other friends wished they'd booked here too, because of the ambience and the wonderful host.
