Hotel Aroma

The Tin Tin apartment worked really well for our family of two adults and two kids. It was spacious, spotless, and had a kitchen with everything we needed. The location is great, right by the harbor and in the town center, and there were complimentary treats waiting when we arrived. I’d recommend it to anyone.

The management is really friendly and sympathetic. Our room was a good size, with a kitchen attached, and the place felt cozy. There’s a supermarket within walking distance, and the port is just a five-minute walk away.

The island’s natural beauty is wonderful, but it was impossible to find anything to eat in the evening. It seems normal elsewhere to get food at 10 pm, perhaps while sitting outside with a beer or wine, but every restaurant I called said no. When I asked what they were doing, they answered, “relax!” I’d like to invite those lazy workers to Germany so they might learn what real work means before relaxing. We also tried to get someone at the hotel’s attention, but they were all sitting inside drinking beer with the door shut, and nobody opened it. Going to bed hungry is unbelievable. This was my last time here. I’d rather have a dirty room than no food, so I can’t praise anything in this situation. Feed your guests and you’ll have happy clients.

We booked a room so we could attend my daughter’s wedding. Our flight was cancelled, so we missed the wedding and tried to cancel the room. The hotel showed no sympathy and charged us the full rate. A few hours later, I checked availability and saw the room had been booked again. They made money twice and still wouldn’t consider a refund, which only made missing such an important event more upsetting. Thanks a lot.
