Kjobing Manor

The owner was such a kind, helpful woman, and everything inside was comfortable, from the bed to the rest of the room. The room and bathroom were very clean, and the kitchen was well equipped. Kjobing Manor is a beautiful, romantic house in a great spot in Aeroskobing. We loved spending our vacation there.

The owner is lovely, and the place is right in the town center with everything nearby. We stayed for two nights in mid July, and the price was reasonable. My husband and I loved our visit and will definitely stay here again on our next trip to Ærø. Thank you!

The manor is right in the center, close to the harbor and ferry, city hall, restaurants, shopping centre, and library. Just be careful, because the manor and library share the same house address, number 18. I loved how clean this old, modernized manor was, along with the careful decoration and flowers. But I found the fee for room 5 high for a Deluxe room. The bed linens could have been ironed, and instructions for the showers would help. There are two shower guns, and it took some unpleasant trial and error to figure them out. There’s nowhere to keep soap or gel on the shower curtain, so you have to reach outside and spray water onto the floor. The floor gets completely wet after showering and needs to be cleaned. The wooden bedroom floor also creaks whenever you move. Even with those issues, it was warming to return to our room in February after walking around the colorful, cold city of Aero.

The rooms were so clean and cozy, and we loved the decorations and paintings. Collette, the owner, is a lovely person who makes you feel at home. It’s a beautiful place, and I’ll stay here again next time I’m in Æro.
