Sølyst Apartments

Apartment 14 has a lovely large balcony overlooking the Baltic Sea, and it's quiet at night except for the sound of the sea. The two bedrooms and beds were okay, and the location is nice, 100 from the sea and quite close to a lovely beach. But the apartment itself is worn down and needs a LOT of renovation. The kitchen sink leaks, the pans and kitchen equipment need replacing, and so does the furniture. The parasol was broken, though the outdoor furniture was okay. The swimming pool was empty, and nobody told us, even though it was the reason we chose the place. For the price, I'd rate it 2.5 stars. The location alone gets 3.5.

The place itself is extremely nice, and the main road is busy but manageable at night. Parking was the bigger headache: spaces were scarce every day, causing arguments among residents, and some basic spaces could be added so people wouldn’t have to use the nearby hotel’s private lot. The sofa beds are worn out and take a sturdy back to sleep on. Only four TV channels worked, so bring a Chromecast or similar.

A spacious apartment with all the equipment we needed. It’s well located, close to both the beach and shops.

Apartment 2 was lovely, clean, and had everything we needed. We also had a great view of the sea.
