Best Western Plus Airport Hotel Copenhagen

The staff seemed friendly and did try to help, but half the lobby was under renovation and looked unpleasant. My room was tucked behind the elevator shafts, and I could hear every elevator running. They offered earplugs, but said there were no other rooms available. I had one of the worst nights of sleep I've had, and now regret paying extra to stay here.

The breakfast buffet earns an extra star, and staff I met were generally helpful. Getting to the airport by bus or metro is easy, with small grocery shops and fast food places nearby too. The room was very worn and looked barely changed since the 70s or 80s. It needs a remodel, and a deep clean would help. There were no outlets near the bed, so I had to crawl under the desk to reach the one outlet. The bathroom drain is under the sink outside the shower, and it was clogged. Every shower flooded the bathroom with at least a centimeter of water. Two large towels and one small towel didn't do much to deal with it. The sink drained extremely slowly as well, so I had to wait before there was room to wash my hands after brushing my teeth. There's only one soap for handwashing, body wash and shampoo. I'd have preferred separate hand soap and soap for the rest, ideally shampoo too. I paid $135 for one night, which didn't feel reasonable. At $50-60, I could have accepted the condition.

Friendly staff let us into our basic, clean room an hour before the official check-in time. The hotel is visibly dated, but for a three-star place the rating seems about right. It's within walking distance of the airport, and there are supermarkets and places to eat right next door. It does the job if you need to be near the airport.

The rooms are very simple, with no coffee maker or way to heat water for tea, and my bed had only one pillow. Still, it's a great hotel in a great location. Make sure to get the breakfast.
