The tent area was calm, and I had the basics I wanted for an overnight stop. The toilets and showers were clean, and there was a cooking space and washing machine. The shower takes a 5kr coin, which reception gave me when I paid by card. A restaurant at the port and a supermarket are nearby. A great place for cyclists with tents.

Children can pet the goats in the pen on site. This is a small, peaceful campsite near a village, and it stayed quiet at night without feeling crowded.

There’s a little lake with lots of ducks, plus five goats, which the kids really enjoyed. The facilities were new and clean, and they had everything we needed, including free Wi-Fi. The owner was friendly and flexible about check-in and check-out times. During high season there’s a swimming pool and outdoor activities, including an open fire. Showers cost 5 NOK each in high season. There’s a shop nearby, and the beach is about five minutes by car or 20 minutes on foot. Very family-friendly, I’d happily recommend it.

We really enjoyed our stay at Asaa camp. The staff were fantastic, and everything was clean and well maintained. It’s child-friendly too, with games and ice cream available at the shop.

The area is lovely, and there’s plenty for young children to do. The campsite has full facilities for families, and nights were very quiet.
