Four Points Flex by Sheraton Ballerup

The staff were the best part of our stay. They were very friendly and helpful, almost like family, and worked incredibly hard, especially the waiters and kitchen staff. Thanks to them for their hospitality. That really wasn't the issue. I stayed for a week in August 2025 with my family: two young children, a wheelchair user, and me, her able-bodied partner. I know there are some very critical reviews here, but I don't think the hotel deserves all of them. It's a small hotel, though you wouldn't guess that from outside. The reception and lobby are small, which gives the place an informal feel. The elevator fit a wheelchair and a few suitcases. The stairs were wide and clean, without dust or stains. I can only speak for our adapted room. The shower had plenty of space and there were grab bars by the toilet. Getting the water to a steady temperature was hard, though. It kept changing from cold to hot and back. We figured out how to use it after a few days, but I can see why others might complain. The beds were made neatly every day. The room also got far too hot, even though the summer days outside were a pleasant 20-25 degrees. It often felt like a sauna. We told the staff, who took the feedback on board, and I expect they'll do something about it. Breakfast was just about adequate, with little choice of spreads: chocolate spread, peanut butter, some cheese and ham, tomatoes, peppers, and cucumbers. The staff didn't refill things fast enough. Drinks were good, with different coffees, teas, juices, milk, and similar options. On busy days, you might not find a seat, which is a real downside. It's fine for a stopover, as long as you don't expect many facilities.
