Even in late winter, the garden gave me a glimpse of how lovely it must be in summer. It was such a peaceful place, and Erik at Reception was a gracious, wonderful host. :)

We spent one night in 'Værkstedet' on our west coast road trip. Such a special spot, and a fantastic place to stay.

Walking among the herbs and unusual flowers, the garden feels exotic, and the whole place has a friendly atmosphere. It almost feels like home, somewhere outside ordinary time and normality!

Breakfast out in the garden was exceptional. The hotel garden itself is lovely too.

We spent three lovely days at Anne Just's Havehotel. Our spacious, beautiful Architect's Room had drawings by Claus Bonderup on the walls, and opened easily onto the terrace and the paradise-like garden.
