The free laundry was a lovely surprise, and there’s free Wi-Fi across the whole site too. I was also impressed by the cooking facilities, with hobs and ovens available at no charge and little places nearby to sit and eat or relax. The toilet blocks are well equipped, with a spacious shower area, a seat, and a dry spot to keep your clothes protected. The receptionist was friendly and helpful when we arrived. One of the best campsites I’ve ever stayed at.

The houses are nice, and the beach is very close. It’s also a handy base for trips. The playground doesn’t offer much for older kids, though. One warning if you’re considering bringing a dog: ours hurt her paw and needed surgery. The stairs aren’t suitable for dogs, so be ready to carry them.

The little village is within easy walking distance, and this is a nice place with everything you need. The service was perfect, and the toilets and showers were clean.

The campsite is quite big and run efficiently, though it doesn’t feel especially cosy. We stayed in a snug cabin tucked into a corner, looking out over a grassy area. It was dated and not very well maintained. There was electricity and bedding, but no running water.

We only stayed one night. It was clean and peaceful, and the playground was lovely. The price was really high, but we enjoyed our short visit.
