Guldbjerhus Bed and Breakfast was marvelous for tourists. The food was five-star, and they were happy to help with anything. I can’t imagine a better place to stay in Denmark.

We arrived to a glass of lovely wine and some snacks, and the service was great. The room was tip-top, and it’s a quiet place with a beautiful, well-kept garden. But the homemade breakfast was the highlight: hearty and delicious, the best we’ve ever had, and just right before our hike to Æbelø. A fantastic experience, highly recommend!

My husband and I spent two nights here in May with three couples of friends, and Guldbjerghus is absolutely fantastic. The place is full of history and love, with two wonderful hosts. Breakfast was so good it could drown out the birds’ song 😀 Everything is homemade, with fruit, herbs, and vegetables from the garden, prepared with great care. It used to be a school and a restaurant, and it’s been decorated really nicely. A very good place, highly recommended.
