Go Sleep Bredehus

We stayed as a family of five in a six-person apartment on the first floor of the house near the street. The rooms looked almost new, and the kitchen had everything we needed. It was very clean, and just 15 minutes from Legoland. When the power went out, the owner had it fixed within 20 minutes. A very pleasant stay.

We were surprised by the good value for money. Everything was handled online, and the managers communicated wonderfully. It's perfectly placed for a stop on the road. The one downside was that the cafeteria restaurant was closed in June.

The reception was unattended most of our stay, which caused a long wait for our room key on arrival. We also had to leave the key at the desk when checking out, and I would've been annoyed if I'd had to wait then too. One of our party handled the payment, so it wasn't an issue for me. The event rooms are lovely, and the bedrooms strike a nice balance between cosy and modern. Breakfast had a good selection, and the evening dinner buffet in the event room felt fancy without being too much for picky eaters.

Sunday's pork didn't live up to our last visit to Bredehus' restaurant. The meat was quite dry, and the sauce tasted bland and boring.
