A Hotels Glostrup

The main safety issues worried me most. During our stay, a young mother slipped in the wet reception area between the two sliding doors, where there was no floor mat, and fractured her right hand. It was snowing heavily, and the grounds weren’t salted until after she fell. Extension leads across the dining hall also seemed like a trip hazard in a busy shared space. Staff showed little empathy, and the hotel didn’t seem well managed. We came on Thursday, 1 January 2026, as a large family group travelling from different countries for a wedding. The occasion was memorable, and some parts of the stay were acceptable, but the hotel experience as a whole disappointed us. Our room’s rug was discoloured and stained, as though it hadn’t been properly cleaned or replaced in a long time. I don’t want to be overly critical, but it’s hard to see how this is rated as a 4-star hotel. The issues also made me question how it received Euro Hotel Star ratings in previous years and for 2026. It’s a shame, because the hotel has a lot of potential. Would I stay again? Unfortunately, no.

The hotel’s outside the city centre, but I think getting there by train or bus should be easy, so I wouldn’t count that as a downside. It’s about a 10-minute drive from the airport. There’s free parking on site, the room was big and clean, and breakfast had lots of choices.

Allah said: “In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful (1) Praise be to Allah, Lord of the Worlds, (2) The Beneficent, the Merciful. (3) Owner of the Day of Judgment, (4) Thee (alone) we worship; Thee (alone) we ask for help. (5) Show us the straight path, (6) The path of those whom Thou hast favoured. Not (the path) of those who earn Thine anger nor of those who go astray. (7) (Al-Fatihah 1 The Noble Qur'an)”

Free Wi-Fi and parking are included, which helped make this good value. I liked having a small gym with enough equipment for a quick workout. The room was clean and comfortable, and breakfast came with a decent range of options. A-Hotels is a solid pick for a short stay. It’s a little outside the centre, but public transport makes it easy to get to.
