Getting around the island by bike from the property was easy, and we felt safe and welcome. We rode from the harbour in Ballen, which took about 10 minutes, and the location also works well if you're arriving by car. The tents were roomy, spotless and cozy, which made for a lovely experience. Breakfast was extraordinary, really fresh with plenty of options. We mentioned that we were vegetarian and got so much good food, including avocado, mushrooms, fresh fruit and vegetables, and oatmilk. The freshly baked sourdough buns were my morning highlight. Our hosts were super welcoming and friendly, and we enjoyed our stay a lot. We'd love to return someday.

The location is nice and peaceful, and there was barely any noise outside the rooms. We enjoyed our stay here a while ago. It felt like a mix of a bed and breakfast and a hotel, with attentive service that made us feel like guests instead of just a number.

We had the whole hotel to ourselves for the weekend while celebrating my father's birthday with 22 people, including a child. We were included in the planning from the beginning, and all our requests were taken care of. Susanne arranged a bus and a guide for us. The rooms were great, the food incredibly delicious, and the service so nice. We'd happily give the warmest recommendation.
