The owner saved us when we got a flat tyre, and we're really grateful for that. We stayed three nights at Bryrup Camping on terrace 3, which was quiet and lovely even with families using the pool and bouncy pillow. The facilities were spotless, and the bar served very good beer and aperol. There are great dog walks into the woods, too. It also worked well for exploring the area, including Silkeborg museum, Moesgaard museum for the bog people, Arhus and the North Sea coast. We’ll definitely come back sometime.

I live in town, so I haven't stayed at the campground, but I often walk in the forest or around the nearby lakes and stop in for ice cream. The staff have always been friendly and welcoming, and the guests seem to be having a good time. The facilities look like good quality and enjoyable. We've recommended the place to visiting friends and family.

There are plenty of activities for kids, so I can see why some families might feel the price is fair. For us, though, paying 50€ a night for two people wasn't justified, especially without children. It was by far the most expensive stop on our tour of Denmark. Wi-Fi, hot water and electricity weren't free, so we had to pay extra for hot water and electricity on top of the nightly rate.
