AC Bella Sky Copenhagen

The beds were amazing and I slept so well. We really enjoyed our stay, and the hotel felt nice and cosy. The spa was surprisingly good, with lots of lovely facilities, and the breakfast buffet had high quality food and plenty of variety. Thanks for a lovely visit. I’ve already recommended it to friends and family.

This airport hotel avoids most of the usual compromises. The building looks massively over engineered, as if it could withstand 250mph winds during a 7.5 earthquake. Exposed girders, oversized bolts, and structural cables won’t be everyone’s thing, but I liked them. The in-house restaurants serve decent food at an okay price. Thanks to Freddy at Martha's for steering us toward Taffel, the local tipple. Good stuff.

The room was pleasant enough, with a decent bed, a clean bathroom, a small fridge for cold drinks, and tea and coffee making facilities. The bathroom windows with curtains on the outside felt a bit awkward. The toilet clogged on the first morning, but I reported it in the app and there were no further problems. We were on the 12th floor, and the busy lifts caused a long wait once, about 20 minutes, especially inconvenient in the morning rush. Other waits were shorter. We were there for Comic Con 2025, so the location worked perfectly, and the discount through Comic Con was nice. Breakfast had lots of choice, including cereal, bread, hot and cold food, fruit, scrambled eggs and sausages. The little cakes weren’t great, but I loved the waffles the first day and pancakes the next. After checkout they let us leave our luggage in a secure room for free.

The receptionist let me into my room even though I arrived at 7am, well before the 2pm check-in, so I could sort out my luggage and shower before the conference. It’s a proper five-star hotel. The room was good, and so was the breakfast, though the menu was the same each day. The coffee was good too. It’s a bit pricey, but acceptable.
