Best Western Plus Park Globetrotter Copenhagen Airport Hotel

The restaurant meal was a pleasant surprise. The hamburger was good and the fries were awesome. The lobby and hallways weren’t fancy, but the staff were helpful, and our room was very clean with everything we needed. We didn’t have time to check out the pool. Getting there was easy: only two train stops from the airport, then a short walk. Elevators from the train made things accessible, and I managed to wheel two large suitcases along the sidewalk to the hotel without much trouble. I’d happily stay again if I needed somewhere close to the airport.

I wouldn’t recommend this hotel after what happened. I booked a room for two days, then got a message two weeks before the trip saying they were overbooked and couldn’t host me. They offered to arrange another hotel at the same price, and I accepted, but the actual price was three times higher. My attempts to get it changed to match the original offer didn’t work. I lost time negotiating and had to find somewhere else, by then prices had gone up.

We booked well ahead for our Copenhagen trip, then our reservation was unexpectedly cancelled through Booking.com just a week before we were due to arrive. The reason given was that it was on the hotel’s side. We contacted the hotel directly for an explanation, but never got a reply. It was especially confusing to see rooms still available for the same dates on both the hotel website and Booking.com, but at a much higher price. The late cancellation and lack of communication caused a lot of stress and disappointment, and left us feeling unfairly treated. Based on this experience, I can’t recommend the hotel.

I’d booked a night in October 2025 for my trip home to the USA, choosing the hotel because it was close to the airport. I had a confirmation email, and the deposit was reserved on my charge card. But when I arrived on the evening of 12/5 after a two-hour train ride, I was told the hotel was closed for repairs. The person at the counter didn’t know why I hadn’t been contacted. I had to scramble to find a room at the last minute and ended up paying over $600.
