Comfort Hotel Vesterbro

We enjoyed the stay once we were moved to a double room, but the standard rooms are extremely small. I’ve stayed in small rooms before, but this was the most difficult one: no desk and nowhere to put bags. I can’t picture staying there without the free upgrade, which we got after asking at reception. Honestly, I was ready to pay for it, because if there’d been no availability it would have been a serious problem. There wasn’t an issue in the end. We liked the upgraded room, the breakfast was quite good, and the hotel staff were the kindest and best I’ve encountered. The hotel is close to the main station, metro, and trains, so getting around is easy. If you’re reading this before booking, reserve a larger room.

The compact room was a bit too small for me, with no desk or drawers, but the service, location, and amenities made up for it. The bed was extraordinarily comfortable, the gym was great, and breakfast had lots of options, including vegan ones. Reception staff were very helpful too. I needed earplugs, and when a screw came loose from my trolley handle, they were able to fix it. I had a very pleasant stay, thanks a lot!

The location felt safe, Ubers were easy to find, and we could walk to central stations and reach the main sights in about 20-40 minutes. The room was clean and comfortable, though the mattresses were a little soft for our taste. It got very warm at night with the radiator on, but opening the window helped. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the barception was a nice place to sit outside the room with a drink. Having snacks and drinks available was handy. The room wasn't cleaned during our four-night stay because housekeeping only comes every four days. I understand why they do that, but that felt like a long time without even a bathroom refresh. We also had to ask reception for toilet paper, which was a bit inconvenient.

The breakfast was wonderful, with lots of choice, a lovely setup, and everything kept very clean. The staff were really friendly, the gym area was decent, and the location was excellent. I was also kindly upgraded to a larger room, which was spacious and very clean, thank you for that. I agree with some of the other comments about the bathrooms and mattresses. They could use renovation and replacement. Otherwise, it's a good hotel, and I'll definitely come back, but in summer.
