The walk down the lane to the ocean is short, and the view there is breathtaking. Back at the house, breakfast was divine, with homemade bread, jam and granola alongside all the usual breakfast things. It’s such a beautiful old place, elegant but cosy, and the housekeeper was lovely and full of helpful information.

We’re already thinking about another trip from South Africa just to stay here again. This little B&B really held its own against the Radisson Blu and Marriott during our Scandinavia trip. The host made us feel at home as soon as we arrived, and there’s a lovely beach just a few minutes’ walk away. A perfect little spot for a proper city getaway. Tack så mycket!

Such a quiet spot, in what might be the most beautiful part of Fyn, Denmark, or even Europe...

Charming and beautiful without being over the top. The interior was lovely, and the service was kind.

The rooms were clean and good, though very basic. The view, though, is amazing.
