A nice hotel right in the city center, surrounded by the beautiful Dronninglund nature. The decor is a bit old-fashioned.

We had a good stay here, and check-in was quick. Breakfast and dinner were both good, and we found something our 16-month-old daughter could eat too. Our dog was welcome, though there was an extra charge. We always found a parking space in the slightly narrow lot at the back. The hotel is an 8-minute drive from a lovely beach. The room and bathroom could have been bigger, but it wasn't a problem for us. One small thing: since they knew we had a baby and diapers, an extra trash bag for the room bin would have been nice. We used a voucher.

There wasn't much service, and when we ordered wine, the staff got it wrong twice. They seemed more focused on the anniversary and other parties happening at the time. The food was okay, mostly buffet in an old Danish style. The place felt worn down, with old furniture, drafty rooms, uncomfortable beds, and really bad pillows.

Some of the staff were very friendly and helpful, and the sea and beach are not far from this very quiet town. But the hotel is old and tired and needs a facelift. The food was average, and on our second day the room hadn't been cleaned. It wasn't the best hotel I've stayed in.

The beds were a big plus, really comfortable. Amazing hotel, and I'd totally recommend it for either a short or long stay.
