Southern Funen is beautiful and well worth visiting, and the old part of the hotel has a lovely charm. The local ingredients at breakfast were delicious, though I would have liked more choice. Service was fine, but at this price it could have been a bit better. Some room features, especially the bathroom, felt standard. It would be nicer if they carried through more of the main building’s wonderful manor-house style.

There’s a real sense of calm here, with lovely nature all around. This beautiful hotel and conference center also takes the environment and sustainability seriously, which you can see in its choice of materials. A little circuit for the soul.

Being away from the city was exactly what we were after, so the remote location suited us. The drive there was part of the fun too, passing through old little towns and seeing all the old houses. We really liked the room, the food, and the whole place. Such a lovely spot.

The setting is beautiful, and I’ve stayed here several times on business trips. The rooms are small but comfortable, and breakfast is sufficient. Dinner has always been good, with local ingredients on the menu.

I took a pleasant little loop walk around the grounds, then had coffee in the outdoor greenhouse. The Cafe service was wonderful!
