Dinner and breakfast were both a real pleasure, and the place is so quiet. I’d recommend taking a walk down to the seaside. My room was a little cold, so it would be nice if they warmed it up before guests arrive. I think I’d pick this place over going back to Assen.

We were in Lyset, around 300 m from the main building. The room was peaceful and the view towards Feddet was fantastic. Really nice place.

The food was just great. You can taste the thought and work these people put into it. No posh, showy dining, just the basics done well and allowed to shine. Don’t read Shakespeare, watch it. Eat what you find in a good garden, then let these young cooks work their magic. Thanks for that treat. I appreciate your effort and hard work. 🙏

The restaurant and its local food are a highlight, from the gourmet-style one-course dinner and lunch to the fantastic breakfast, with ales from local breweries too. The wine list is fairly expensive, but there are plenty of options and some great finds. The rooms have a nicely decorated boutique look with a rustic quality, and the hotel sits in beautiful surroundings near the beach on Fyn’s west coast, with fields and a small forest close by. It’s a very typical Danish landscape. There are event facilities, and the little “easter eggs” tucked around the garden add a playful, quirky touch. A couple of things could be better: the waiters seem a bit inexperienced, and I’d like to see a larger menu selection. With those changes, it could rank among the best. Excellent hotel and restaurant.

We had a really tasty meal in the lovely garden. They have 3 Tesla type 2 chargers, and the toilet was very good.
