There’s a little grill across the road, and an amazing supermarket with a bakery just around the corner. There's also a gas station there if you need one. What stood out most was the old-fashioned hospitality. The man who welcomed us was so warm and friendly, happy to share local knowledge, and nothing seemed like a problem. These days so much hospitality feels scripted and corporate, so it was a bit like stepping back in time. I don’t mean the place is ancient. If I pass through Egtved again, I think I’d stay here. Enjoy the place and the beautiful village.

The beds were good, but getting upstairs was a real problem. The staircase was long and steep, and the website hadn't mentioned it. I have MS and we had two big dogs, including a very old one who struggled to get up.

The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the rooms were really nice. The man who greeted us, the owner, was kind and helpful. Great service! :)

It was very inexpensive, but far off the way to anywhere, and not a great place for children. The room reeked of tobacco. Not good.
