It’s a peaceful campsite near the beach, with great facilities like indoor and outdoor pools and crazy golf. But none of that is included in the £46 nightly fee, which feels very expensive just to pitch your own tent. The restaurant and bar are listed as a perk, yet they were closed both Wednesday and Thursday when we stayed. We had to drive 15 minutes to the nearest town, which wasn’t great when we fancied a drink on holiday.

I went there to do laundry. First, she sent me to the wrong laundrette. Then the machine leaked standing water and didn’t have the detergent it was supposed to include. My clothes smelled of stagnant water, so I had to wash them again. The maintenance person was no help, and I was still charged for the “service”. Never again.

The campsite is nice, but €62,50 for one night in high season for two people and a caravan is a lot. The Wi-Fi was very poor, and using the pool cost another € 5,40 per person. I found it too expensive.
