I was very happy with the cleaning, since that matters most to me. The furniture, dishes, and pretty much the whole apartment were clean, apart from the floor. The furniture is new and comfortable, and the kitchen has nearly everything you need to cook. It’s very close to the sea, about 50 to 100 meters depending on which apartment you get. There’s both an indoor and an outdoor pool, and I’d definitely like to go back. The bathroom had no shampoo or hair dryer.

The location is great, with parking around the site and just a short walk to the harbour and city centre. The overall directions around the site aren’t very clear, but once you know where to find the indoor swimming pool, sauna, and activity room, that’s basically all you need. The place is showing its age.

Faaborg is a really cozy town with lots of restaurants and sights, and it’s just a short walk from the place. There’s also a nice beach right outside, so the location is excellent. The apartment was clean and furnished as expected, but the place overall felt a little worn. Extension cords were lying on the floor, and the appliances were so-so. The dishwasher was the loudest I’ve ever used. Both pools were clean, though not very interesting, and there were no lockers in the changing rooms. The basement activity room had pool, billiards, table tennis, air hockey, and more, but many things were broken or cost extra to use. Even the table football had a coin slot, which was a first for me. It felt very much like a money grab. There was also an ice cream stall on site, but its opening hours were unpredictable. The restaurant is supposedly very good, but was mostly closed during our stay because of staff shortages.

The location is great for seeing and visiting places around Fåborg, and there’s a nice beach, indoor and outdoor pools, and a playground for kids. There’s also a fancy, expensive restaurant. Staff are friendly, though limited in what they can help with because of poor opening hours. I also couldn’t get cash for the laundry machine. The apartments vary a lot. Some are nice, modern, and luxurious, but ours was outdated and poorly maintained. They’re equipped with basic appliances like a dishwasher, oven, and microwave. Many have at least some sea view. If we visit the area again, we’d try another facility.
