We came in a camper from Fjællebroen and took a walk from the harbor, following Ølandsstien, which comes quite close. It was one of the most beautiful walks of its kind. The old buildings have a beautiful style and ought to be preserved, but everything looks sad and abandoned. Three stars because it’s such a sad sight. This fantastic spot deserves some care.

Nakkebølle feels peaceful and tranquil, a gem in South Funen, and the old sanatorium is beautiful. It’s no longer in use, though, so it stands empty and will keep deteriorating over the years. Skolesamvirket Tvind School operated here from 2008 to 2018, after which the property was put up for sale.

Such a beautiful old Sanatorium.

The view is fantastic. It’s a lovely, quiet spot at the forest’s edge, facing the water.

A very peaceful campsite with an incredibly beautiful view across the South Funen archipelago.
