BB-Vesterskov

The room was clean and comfortable, and breakfast was simple, tasty, and self-service. We had good communication with the hosts before our stay and when we arrived. The one drawback was needing to cross the courtyard to reach the toilet and shower in the main house.

The breakfast, with fresh local ingredients, was a delicious start to the day, and the charming rooms were well equipped. Vesterskov Bed & Break fast is tucked away in nature, with welcoming hosts and a cozy feel that made us feel at home straight away. It's peaceful, yet close enough to local attractions and activities for a relaxing weekend. We had a lovely time in Lolland & Falster and would gladly return to Vesterskov Bed & Break fast. See you again!

The room was okay, and the central location worked for our one night cycling from Berlin to Copenhagen. But the booking didn't make clear that we'd be in a garden house and need to use the tiny bathroom in the main house basement. We also had to make our own breakfast, which would have been fine if we'd known in advance. The hostess seemed strange and unfriendly. On arrival, we felt more like intruders than welcome guests, and it gave us the impression they were just glad to see us leave.

I booked this overnight stay several weeks ahead, but two days before the date, Vesterskov B&B messaged to say I couldn't come after all because they'd FORGOT they already had another guest. That's poor form. At least they let me know before the day I was supposed to stay. I have to give one star, otherwise the review won't be registered.
