Falster City Camping

We picked this campsite for an overnight stop on the way to the boat in Rødby. It was handy having a McDonald's nearby for dinner and Aldi for bread in the morning. Check-in is available until 23:00, and the camper pitches are spacious and level. It was very quiet at night. The showers could have been a little warmer, though getting up and going did help us be on time for the boat.

Claus and Britta welcomed us warmly and gave us great, well-informed advice on sightseeing, places to eat, and things to do over the weekend. We were there in early July 2017, looking for a spot convenient to the city center but outside its busy area. They showed us to a pleasant cabin, and once settled, we went back to reception for their suggestions. The campsite was busy during our stay but still peaceful and never felt overcrowded. The amenities were beautifully maintained, and we never had to wait to use them. From what we saw, it suits all sorts of travelers, with tents, caravans, children, and motorbikes all represented. The campsite was beautiful, inexpensive, and had a very friendly owner. The sanitary facilities were a little outdated, but spacious and clean. It was a nice place to stay in bad weather, and there's a supermarket 500 meters away.

I was cycletouring and would stay here again. It's a good site at a reasonable price, with a sheltered area for small tents and picnic tables. The facilities are good, including a common room and Wi-Fi, and there's a supermarket nearby.
